Fans of wooden skis and woolly knits delighted in Poland’s retro piste action in Zakopane.

The 19th annual Easter Egg ski competition saw many attempt the tricky turns with the vintage equipment on the snowy slopes.

The daring participants could compete in two categories: one judging the elegance and technical mastery of vintage skiing, while the second was a parallel slalom race pitting men against women.
