At least 32 people were killed when a tour bus flipped over on a highway in Taiwan on Monday night.

The cause of the crash near the capital, Taipei, is not clear. Around a dozen people were injured.

The coach is said to have careered towards a barrier at a curve on the road.

Many of the victims were elderly tourists, reportedly returning from a trip to see cherry blossoms.

It is thought all were Taiwanese.
