The Eiffel Tower in Paris could get a glass wall around its base – as part of efforts to boost protection against terrorist attacks.
The world famous landmark already has metal fencing – put up as a temporary measure last year for the Euro football championships.
The two-and-a-half metre glass wall would cost around 20 million euros.
