Mysterious death at Russian consulate in New York

New York police are investigating the death of a member of staff at the Russian consulate after his body was found outside with a head injury at around seven in the morning. The 63-year old was found unconscious and died while receiving treatment.

The cause of death is unknown and a post-mortem will be carried out, but violence has been ruled out for the moment.
