Police in the Czech Republic have released video footage of a Russian man’s arrest in connection with hacking attacks on targets in the United States.

They say the operation, at a hotel in Prague, was carried out in cooperation with the FBI.

The suspect is said to have collapsed, requiring a brief stay in hospital.

A police spokesman identified the man on Wednesday as Yevgeniy N., born in 1987, and said the arrest was made on Oct. 5 on the basis of an Interpol notice.

Washington claims Russia is behind hacking that has hit the Democratic Party ahead of next month’s presidential election.

There is no indication that this arrest was linked to those attacks.
