In the Khyber and Kashmiri regions of northern Pakistan flash floods triggered by heavy rains have killed at least 55 people.
An emergency operation has been launched to help thousands of survivors, dozens of whom have been cut off by a landslide in a a mountain valley.
Some 150 home are said to have been destroyed. More storms were forecast for the north of the country and neighbouring Indian regions.
