Giulio Regeni Cairo murder 'isolated incident' says Egypt FM

The murder of an Italian student Giulio Regeni in Cairo has been described by Egypt’s foreign minister as an “isolated incident.”

He said Egyptian authorities are making every effort to find the truth.

Human rights groups say signs of torture on his body suggest he was murdered by Egyptian security forces.
