A 21-10 win for England against Ireland in the Six Nations secured new coach Eddie Jones third successive victory in the competition.

Anthony Watson’s try gave England control of the game in the second half after they had dominated possession in the opening 40 minutes.

Ireland seeking a third consecutive title had held the lead early in the second period after a try by Conor Murray.

Full back Mike Brown sealed the victory as he crossed the line for England’s second try in what was a tight, error strewn match.

England are the only team with a one hundred percent winning record in the Championship. In the weekend’s other matches Wales defeated France 19-10 while Scotland secured their first victory in the Six Nations for two years beating Italy 36-20 in Rome.
