Three foreign tourists have been injured after a gunman opened fire at the entrance to a hotel in the Egyptian resort town of Hurghada.

Three foreign tourists have been injured after a gunman opened fire at the entrance to a hotel in the Egyptian resort town of Hurghada.

Egyptian media says two attackers have been killed.

Police say one was wearing an explosives belt.

The assailants arrived by sea to carry out the assault, according to sources.

Two Germans and one Danish national were wounded at the popular hotel Bella Vista.
