"David's sling" in operation mid-2016

Israel plans to deploy its new medium-range missile interceptor by mid-2016.

The system, known as “David’s sling”, has passed final trials.

It is designed to shoot down rockets, cruise missiles and drones and has a range of up to 200 kilometres.
