Supermodel Bar Refaeli is under investigation in Israel over claims that she dodged local taxes on earnings from her high-flying career.

Refaeli, former girlfriend of Leonardo di Caprio, is suspected of failing to report perks and income amounting to millions of shekels.

Among the claims are allegations that she did not pay rent on her apartment in Tel Aviv, received a car from a company in return for publicity as well as paying her interior designer by doing publicity for his business.

Tax authorities claim she tried to hide the fact that she was a resident of Israel by living in an apartment rented by her family.

The model, who was questioned for 12 hours by officials, has denied all the allegations
