A Boeing 767 with over 100 people on board has caught fire at Florida’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport as the plane was taxiing up the runway prior to departure for Caracas in Venezuela.
The North Runway reopened at 7:45 pm. We are fully functional. All runways are operating normally.

Passengers evacuated via emergency slides. A total of 17 passengers on board Dynamic International Airways Flight 405 were taken to hospital.
