Arturo Vidal completed his move to Bayern Munich on Tuesday and soon after was officially presented to the media.
The 28-year-old Chile international and former Juventus star has signed on with the German champions until 2019 in a deal worth 37 million euros with an extra three million in bonuses.
At his unveiling Vidal said: “I played four years with Juventus and they were wonderful years but it was time for a change. I would like to take another step in my career and I would like to win the Champions League. Those are the goals I have.”
Vidal helped Juve to four straight Italian league titles and also played a key role in the club’s journey to last season’s Champions League final, where they lost to Barcelona.
Before Juventus, Vidal played four seasons with Bayer Leverkusen.
