US Ebola mission pulls out of Liberia

The US military mission in Liberia, aimed at halting the spread of the Ebola virus, ended on Wednesday.

The exit from the West African nation comes four months earlier than had been anticipated.

The decision to leave was taken as a result of a dramatic drop of Ebola infection rates over the past month.
