Islamic Civilization Centre in Uzbekistan stands as a modern architectural masterpiece rooted in centuries-old traditions.

The Islamic Civilization Centre in Tashkent stands as a striking fusion of tradition and modernity. Spanning nearly 10 hectares, the three-story complex revives the architectural brilliance of medieval Central Asia, blending historical craftsmanship with contemporary technology.

Its Quran Hall with a 50-ton Swarovski chandelier, and the Hall of Fame with natural marble mosaics showcase Uzbekistan’s living heritage. The 160-meter-long building features four symmetrical 34-metre portals, with the Ulugh Beg Portal inspired by the Registan ensemble in Samarkand. Handcrafted details by Uzbek artisans, from carved doors to silk carpets displaying Qur’anic verses, highlight traditional skills from Samarkand, Bukhara, Khorezm, and Termez.

Advanced technology brings the centre to life through 3D mapping, combining centuries of history with modern artistry. Every element reflects Uzbekistan’s commitment to honouring its past while embracing contemporary innovation.
