Coach Ernesto Valverde will get his first proper taste of the rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid when the two giants of Spanish soccer meet in the first leg of the Spanish Super Cup.
Valverde, who replaced Luis Enrique as Barcelona manager this summer, has insisted his team will move on from the loss of Neymar.
Despite banking 222 million euros for the Brazilian, Barca’s quest to find a replacement has been unsuccessful.

Madrid started the new campaign with another trophy as Zinedine Zidane’s men took the UEFA Super Cup on Tuesday.
Zidane has confirmed he will be signing a contract extension with the club.
