French president sets out agenda at Versailles

French President Emmanuel Macron has set out his vision for the French ‘renaissance’ at the palace of Versailles.

The newly elected head of chose to set out his agenda to both houses of parliament at the former seat of the French kings.

Beforehand a minute’s silence was held following the death of politician and activist Simone Veil.
