Hundreds of demonstrators have gathered outside the White House to protest against President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement, the hard fought global deal to battle climate change.

Environmental groups and scientists joined trade unions and concerned Americans to voice their fury at Trump’s announcement.
