Witnesses said the aircraft appeared to be experiencing problems before it came down, crashing into a parked car and killing a passenger.

One person has died and five others injured after a small plane crash landed on a California freeway.

Witnesses said the aircraft appeared to be experiencing problems before it came down. It skidded 100 metres before crashing into a car which had been parked by the driver to synch his bluetooth device.
