In the Shanghai Fencing Grand Prix the men’s foil final saw 2013 World Champion Miles Chamley-Watson from the United States take on the Czech fencer Alexander Choupenitch.
The American went through a real purple patch when he scored eight hits in succession to race into an 11-2 lead.
It was difficult for Alexander Choupenitch to get back into the contest after that and Chamley-Watson made his early dominance count winning the final 15-7.
