Clashes in Togo as protesters march against President Gnassingbe

There’ve been clashes in Togo’s capital Lome between security forces and opposition supporters protesting against President Faure Gnassingbe.

They fear an agreed presidential term limit may not be implemented and he may seek re-election.

A larger march by the president’s supporters was held earlier without incident.
