More than 300 hand-customised lowriders from across California took part. The parade celebrates Chicano craftsmanship and Latino identity.
It comes two years after California lifted its ban on lowrider parades.
One lowrider said the cars show hard work and offer young people a positive path. Another said more women are now building and driving their own cars.
