A giant swing has been installed at 2,110 metres on the Grand Chamossaire peak in the Swiss Alps, offering visitors a ride above the mountains with panoramic views.
Located at the Villars resort, the attraction has drawn visitors since opening earlier this month.
Resort director Martin Deburaux hopes the installation will attract more visitors during the snowless months as ski areas prepare for less predictable snowfall linked to climate change.
The ride is part of efforts to diversify Alpine tourism beyond winter sports.
