Cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, the traditional performance was staged six times this year, drawing nearly 25,000 spectators.
The event also marked the centenary of the dance’s first appearance.
For the first time, the show revived the 1925 version, where dancers appear as kings before transforming into dwarves in Napoleonic costumes.
This year also saw two women take part in the performance for the first time, marking a milestone in the tradition’s history.
