The saint's relics are placed in a canopy of flowers in the Metropolitan Cathedral. Prayer near the relics will be open to pilgrims until 15 October.
An open-air mass will be celebrated on 14 October, the feast day of Saint Parascheva, and broadcast on several screens around the city.
On Wednesday, the relics of Saint Panteleimon will also be transported to Iaşi.
