From Rome to Rotterdam and Berlin to Bratislava, Europe has been turning its landmarks blue and yellow as a show of support for Ukraine.

The Brandenburg Gate was illuminated in the colours of Ukraine's flag, as was Downing Street in London and the Colosseum in the Italian capital. 

Erasmus Bridge in Rotterdam had identical hues, as did Bratislava Castle. 

Sarajevo's City Hall, meanwhile, had "Solidarity with the people of Ukraine" emblazoned across it.
