Idlib "buffer zone" established by Putin and Erdogan ahead of Syrian offensive
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the creation of a "buffer zone" in Syria's Idlib province. It will be a demilitarized area in between Syrian government forces and rebel forces during the looming battle for the territory.
