In an interview with Euronews, Varg Folkman, a policy analyst at the European Policy Centre, commented on the EU's move to suspend its counter-tariffs in response to Trump’s 90-day pause on his reciprocal duties on steel and aluminium.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen defended the EU’s decision to pause its countermeasures against US President Donald Trump’s steel and aluminium tariffs, saying it aims to allow space for negotiations.
