Four people have been injured in a violent axe attack on a train in Paris on Monday, according to French media reports citing police sources.

A fight involving several individuals, including minors, broke out on the RER E line at 8 am for an undetermined reason.

One victim was diagnosed with a head wound, while another suffered an injury to one of their extremities. Two others sustained minor injuries, the reports said.

The official X account for the RER E stated, "An incident on the TUVA train currently at the Ozoir station requires the train to remain at the platform. We are waiting for police intervention. We will keep you updated." No further information was provided.
