Reports indicate that at least one round from the 10 shots fired pierced a wall of the residence, where Rihanna lives with partner A$AP Rocky and their children.
American pop superstar Rihanna's Los Angeles home was hit by gunfire on Sunday after a woman allegedly opened fire on the property while the singer was inside.
The Los Angeles Times, citing a Los Angeles police spokesperson, reported that authorities responded to the shooting at 1:21pm on Sunday and detained a 30-year-old female suspect.
The newspaper cited police radio traffic that “approximately 10 shots” had been fired from a vehicle across the street from the Beverly Hills property’s gate. At least one round pierced a wall of the residence, where Rihanna lives with partner A$AP Rocky and their children.
Rihanna was at home but no injuries were reported.
Investigators are still determining a motive for the attack.
