A Seat at the Table: Food and Feasting in the Islamic World, a new exhibition held at The Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, showcases how food shapes culture, faith and daily life from the emergence of Islam to modern day. Sections like Breaking Bread and Food and Faith explore historical spice routes, bread-making traditions and how faith plays a part in cuisine. Interactive displays and installations, including a recreated Sultan’s feast by VCU Qatar students, invite visitors to reflect on food’s power to unite across cultures.
