Indian designer Arjun Khanna’s retro-industrial summer/resort collection at Lakmé Fashion Week was influenced by the bicycle style and messenger boys of the 1940s.
Going for a vintage look, he had his models wearing in cropped jackets, waistcoats and he revisited his signature bandhgala or Jodpuri suit.
Khanna sent out his models with eye mask make-up in a show called Out of Sight, Out of Mind,
He said: “You know for me, it’s all about tailoring. I love tailoring, I love making the clothes, I love putting the lining in and it becomes a passion and love affair with my clothes.”
