STOCKHOLM (Reuters) - The operator of the Nordic and Baltic stock markets said on Friday it had halted trade on its bourses in the region due to technical issues.
"We have connectivity problems that affect all our customers in the Nordic and the Baltic countries. We are working to resolve it as soon as possible but we currently have no timeline," a Nasdaq OMX Nordic spokesman said.
Nasdaq OMX Nordics said on its website that all equity and equity derivatives markets had been halted.
Nasdaq operates the bourses in Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
