Chadwick Boseman is honored with a posthumous Hollywood Walk of Fame star, celebrated by family, co-stars and creators five years after his death.

Chadwick Boseman has been awarded a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, five years after his death from colon cancer.

His widow Simone Ledward-Boseman attended the ceremony alongside Viola Davis and director Ryan Coogler as the 2,828th star was unveiled.

Boseman, known for his iconic roles as Jackie Robinson, James Brown and Marvel’s T’Challa, was praised for his impact and legacy.

Davis described him as a “mighty elixir” whose spirit continues to inspire those he worked with.
