Hundreds of thousands gathered in the Vatican on Saturday to watch the final journey of Pope Francis, attended by leaders and royals from around the world.

Thousands of faithful and world leaders attended the funeral of Pope Francis, who died on Easter Monday at the age of 88.

According to estimates, some 400,000 faithful attended the event, and 166 international delegations were present on the parvis of St. Peter's Square.

Many heads of state and government were present at the funeral, which was an event for some high-profile meeting including one between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
