Turkmenistan's national leader, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, has reaffirmed the country's neutrality as a pillar of its foreign policy.

Speaking to Euronews, he stressed the country's commitment to peaceful diplomacy, respect for international law and economic cooperation. "We do not support the use of force in global affairs," he stated, advocating dialogue to resolve conflicts. 

On relations with the EU, he highlighted the potential for energy cooperation and trade. "Turkmenistan is ready to strengthen relations with Europe in mutually beneficial sectors," he concluded.
