Lawmakers were also urging member states to strengthen cooperation and swiftly share information when the threat level increases.

The aim of the report is to address the practical and legislative deficiencies in the fight against terrorism and to make recommendations as to measures and initiatives that can be taken to overcome these deficiencies and to improve the fight against terrorism in the European Union.
