Conservationists in South Africa are hoping to revive the fate of a tiny and isolated species of frog.

The Pickersgill Reed Frog is around 30mm long and inhabits an area of just 4,5 square miles of coastal wetland.

The endangered species is key to insect control and is the subject of rebreeding efforts at Johannesburg Zoo.
