Vedat Albayrak from Turkey took the men's under 81 kilo gold in style, scoring an Ippon against Belgium's Matthias Casse.

Andreja Leski began her final against Australia’s Katharina Haecker with a penalty for passivity, but the Slovenian bounced back with two waza-aris to take the under 63 kilo contest.

The vice president of the Olympic committee of Morocco Kamal Lahlou made the presentation.

And Bilal Ciloglu from Turkey took the men's under 73 kilos gold with a waza-ari in the very last second of his bout against the experienced Russian Musa Mogushkov, who is 11 years his senior.
