Oprah Winfrey and Steven Spielberg have added their names to a growing list of Hollywood celebrities donating to the ‘March For Our Lives’ gun control rally organised by students in the wake of the deadly school shooting in Florida.

George and Amal Clooney started the ball rolling with a donation of five hundred thousand dollars, or just over 400,000 euros, in the name of their eight-month-old twins. Winfrey and Spielberg each pledged to match that amount.

Led by survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting, the ‘March For Our Lives Rally’ is scheduled for March 24.
