For a second consecutive season, Cristiano Ronaldo has been named UEFA Men’s Player of the Year. The top goal scorer in the UEFA Champion’s League, Ronaldo retains the vaunted title. It is the third time that the 32-year-old Portuguese player takes the title, winning it in 2013/14.

Dutch player Lieke Martens won the UEFA Women’s Player of the Year for the 2016/17 season. The 24-year-old Barcelona forward, who recently helped the Netherlands to win UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 at home.
