Quail Hollow in North Carolina is all set for the PGA Championship, the final golf major of the year, but conditions in practice have not been ideal, as rain has fallen.

World number one Dustin Johnson lives just an hour away, and a lot of smart money says he is the favourite.

“I’ve been working hard on the game. I feel like it’s finally coming back into form. Last week I had a nice weekend. I felt like I got some things worked out in the swing that were just holding me back a little bit. Right now, I feel it’s close to when I was playing really well before Augusta than I have,” he said.

Also gunning for the title will be Rory McIlroy and the British Open champion Jordan Speith, who if he wins will become only the seventh golfer to have won all four majors.
