Fierce competition is underway in the 2017 International Army Games

They have been dubbed the ‘Military Olympics’. And in the latest stage of the 2017 International Army Games, crews from different countries have been demonstrating their missile-firing skills.

Russia hosted the ‘Keys to the Sky’ contest in its southern region of Astrakhan and came out with top honours, followed by the Chinese.

“The Chinese soldiers finished the operations promptly, precisely and carefully,” said Chief Judge Sergei Babakov. “They are a competitive team with strong organisational capabilities.”

China and Russia are among five countries staging tests in various military disciplines. Russian media reports that 28 countries are taking part in the games from July 29 to August 12.
