Italian Paolo Nespoli is heading to the International Space Station for the third time.

Nespoli, 60, who was born in the same year Sputnik sparked the space race, also spent time on ISS in 2007 and 2010.

Milan-born Nespoli will spend his time maintaining ISS, supporting experiments and communications work to help “bring as many people into space with us as possible”.
