Florida wildfire cuts interstate highway

Video captured from the busy Interstate 95 in Rockledge, Florida, showed massive wildfires raging day and night on Monday (June 26), and into Tuesday morning.

Brush fire, smoke and flames could be seen scorching away at 6:15 pm, (2215 gmt), on Monday evening, and continuing to burn at 1:30 am, (0530 gmt), in the early hours of Tuesday.

Local media reported that the Rockledge section of the highway, a major north-south thoroughfare, has reopened after officials closed parts of it on Tuesday morning.
