US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order to extend offshore oil and gas drilling to areas previously off limits.
The order could lead to a reversal on bans on drilling across the Atlantic, Pacific and Arctic oceans and the US golf of Mexico, which former President Barack Obama sought to protect after the massive oil spill in 2010.
