Authorities in Moscow say security forces have killed two men accused of being armed militants trained by ISIL.

The National Anti-Terrorism Committee says the men were killed in a shootout in the Stavropol region in southern Russia.

Officials claim the pair was planning a series of what they describe as “terrorist crimes”.
