Medical tourism in Romania on the rise

Euronews spoke at Berlin’s ITB to Mircea-Titus Dobre, Romanian Minister of Tourism, about a growing trend in his country: medical tourism (translation provided by Adina Andra Triandafil)

“First of all we have a lot to offer in the field of health tourism because there has been a lot of private investment in this sector. Due to those investments the quality of the service has begun to rise in recent years. Starting from this moment, we will begin and develop the communication with health insurance companies in Germany. We will continue to develop and promote health tourism at other tourism fairs we will participate in.”
