It’s do or die for eight of Europe’s top clubs this week as the Champions League resumes with the last 16 second leg ties.

Napoli host Real Madrid looking to overturn a two goal deficit from the first leg.

The Italians, who are hunting a first last eight visit in the competition, will be boosted by their latest victory against direct Serie A rivals Roma at the weekend.

Napoli will also hope Dries Mertens can continue his fine form in front of goal which has seen him net 16 goals in his last 15 appearances.

Real Madrid meanwhile are unbeaten in their past 11 Champions League matches and will fancy their chances of progressing to the next stage.

The record 11-times champions have Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale back in the fold after both missed Saturday’s 4-1 win over Eibar through injury and suspension respectively.

But the reigning champs, who won the first leg 3-1 at the Bernabeu, will be without defender Raphael Varane, who is out with a thigh problem.

The other game on Tuesday sees Arsenal host Bayern Munich having lost the first leg 5-1 in Germany.
