Officials say municipal ferry services have been affected, as well as flights at Sabiha Gokcen Airport.There was also poor visibility at Ataturk Airport but flights were not affected.

Heavy fog has shrouded Istanbul in Turkey.

Officials say municipal ferry services have been affected, as well as flights at Sabiha Gokcen Airport. In a statement, Turkish Airlines said heavy fog has disrupted flights since 2100 last night. 45 have been cancelled.

There was also poor visibility at Ataturk Airport but flights were not affected.
